Store Person / Warehouse Operative
We are currently recruiting a reliable and organised Store Person to join our team. This is a hands-on role in a busy stores environment, ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and check all deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality
- Store goods safely and in the correct locations
- Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory systems
- Liaise with suppliers regarding deliveries and any discrepancies
- Pick, prepare and deliver goods to internal departments
- Operate a forklift (where required and trained)
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or stock control role (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Forklift licence an advantage (but not essential)
