About the role

The RSA Administrator plays a critical role in supporting the bank’s purpose by ensuring the accurate, efficient and compliant administration of Retirement Savings Accounts (RSAs).

This position is responsible for managing RSA transactions end‑to‑end, meeting all legislative and regulatory obligations, and delivering high‑quality service and support to members.

Through effective processing, reconciliation, reporting and continuous improvement of RSA administration practices, the role contributes to the bank’s commitment to strong governance, member confidence and regulatory compliance.

The position also provides clear, factual guidance to members through inbound and outbound contact, ensuring members understand RSA features, processes and legislative requirements while remaining within prescribed compliance boundaries.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role predominantly fall into to the following three areas.

  • RSA Administration
  • Process RSA transactions, including contributions, rollovers and withdrawals, accurately and within required timeframes
  • Allocate renewing term deposits and contributions within the banking platform
  • Reconcile RSA transactions and complete day‑to‑day operational reconciliations

  • Member Service
  • Provide clear, factual and compliant information to members via phone and email regarding RSA features, processes and legislative requirements
  • Clearly explain fund processes, obligations, timeframes and documentation requirements
  • Compliance & Reporting
  • Maintain compliance with APRA, ATO and the Retirement Savings Accounts Act 1997
  • Stay up to date with evolving regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and year‑to‑date reporting to support audits and regulatory lodgements

About You

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in superannuation, or banking and financial services
  • Experience working with retirement savings or superannuation products
  • Tier 1 compliance qualification (or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of RSA regulatory and compliance frameworks
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational and communication skills
Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in APRA‑regulated environments
  • Experience within a financial services operations or administration function
  • Experience reviewing or improving procedures to support accuracy and compliance
Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong knowledge of RSA legislation and compliance requirements
  • Accurate transaction processing and reconciliation skills
  • Ability to explain complex information clearly and confidently to members
  • Sound understanding of audit processes, risk controls and compliance obligations
  • Comfortable working across digital systems and platforms
