Construction Field Superintendent

Full Time

Commercial General Contractor looking for experienced full-time Commercial Field Superintendent in Jacksonville, Florida. Project locations vary from Daytona Beach to Jacksonville.

Job description

The ideal candidate will confidently manage all aspects of construction site operations. We're seeking experienced Commercial Superintendents with a proven background in interior or ground up construction. They must demonstrate strong abilities in identifying and proactively addressing potential risks to ensure the ongoing safety and efficiency of the project site. Responsible for multiple projects being completed on time, within budget and to contract. Monitor field supervision by directives, inspections, meetings and reviews. Scheduling and coordinating with all trades to run projects smoothly, efficiently and on budget per the plans and specifications. This candidate should be experienced in communicating project milestones with clients and other parties and be able to establish a timeline for completion. Make recommendations to management regarding proposed and existing projects. Great communication with Project Management team is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Shop Drawing Review

· Design Deficiencies

· Change Orders

· Cost Control

· Process Invoices from the Subcontractor

· Invoice Client on a Monthly Basis

· Tracking

· Production Control

· Produce and Update Project Schedule to Client

· Quality Control

· Project Closeout

· Safety and Loss Prevention

· Inspection

· Payment, Negotiation and Claim

· Additional Duties

Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, MS Project. Salary to commensurate with experience. Benefits.

Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction management software.
- Proven experience in project scheduling, management, and supervision in the construction industry.
- Ability to read blueprints and ensure quality control.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project is required.
