4SQ New Opunake – Part Time Store Assistants

4 Square New Opunake is a brand-new 4 Square opening April 2025! The store will offer barista made coffee, a great food-to-go selection, all the everyday essentials and fresh faves that our guests could want, and all while providing the local service that 4 Square is famous for. We’ll be a small, passionate team with a dedication to providing the best shopping experience for the Opunake community.

We’re looking for enthusiastic part-time store assistants to join our brand-new team! You’ll be working alongside an experienced team and Owner Operators to help deliver a shopping experience that is second to none.

Part-time available - perfect for students - 4pm-8:30pm + weekends.

About the role

As a member of our team, you will learn all the aspects of the business and won't be restricted to just one role. This is a customer-facing role where you will have regular interactions with our customers – whether it’s helping them find an item or just having a chat about their day - you’ll ensure the best customer experience!

We work hard and at a fast pace to provide a high level of customer service and ensure a consistently fresh & appealing shopping experience for guests. This includes moving heavy boxes, cleaning, restocking shelves, baking and checkout work along with other duties.

Everyone carries the load, including the owner of the store - there are no egos here. We are a pretty down to earth bunch who like a bit of banter and treat each other with respect.

You must be able to work closing shifts (8pm finish) and one day on a weekend. Other days and shift times are flexible so please let us know what hours you would ideally like to work.
