Position Overview:
The Cleaning Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating cleaning staff, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring that cleaning standards and client expectations are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the work of cleaning staff across one or more sites
• Allocate duties, prepare rosters, and manage staff shifts to meet operational needs
• Train and support staff in company procedures and health & safety guidelines
• Monitor quality of work, conduct inspections, and ensure service standards are upheld
• Resolve customer complaints and operational issues promptly and effectively
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; manage stock orders
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Report to senior management on staff performance and site updates

Skills and Experience Required:

• NZQF Level 2 or 3 OR Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience, preferably in the cleaning or service industry
• Proven ability to lead a team and manage staff performance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
• Basic computer literacy (for scheduling and reporting purposes)
• Flexibility to work across shifts, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed

Pay: $25.00 – $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week

• Rotating roster
• Shift work
