Job Summary
Hudson Technology Inc., a Toronto-based Managed Service Provider, is seeking a Support Technician to join our Service Desk team. In this role, you’ll provide technical support to a wide range of clients across various industries, focusing on Microsoft 365 services, desktop support for Windows and macOS, and general endpoint troubleshooting.
You’ll work closely with other members of the service team to resolve tickets efficiently, maintain excellent communication with end users, and assist with light project deployments as needed. This is an in-office role based at our Toronto headquarters, with occasional onsite client visits.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide user support for Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID
- Troubleshoot desktop and laptop issues in both Windows and macOS environments
- Assist with account creation, MFA setup, password resets, and license assignments
- Configure and support basic networking and VPN connectivity
- Document work clearly in the ticketing system and contribute to internal knowledge base updates
- Collaborate with senior team members to escalate complex technical issues as needed
- Participate in project-related work such as workstation deployments and onboarding setups
- Conduct occasional onsite visits for client support and hardware-related tasks
Required Skills and Experience
- College diploma or university degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical support or service desk role
- Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 from a support and admin perspective
- Experience supporting both Windows and macOS desktop environments
- Strong customer service, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems
- Ability to follow process, prioritize tasks, and complete work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900), or equivalent
- Exposure to MSP environments and tools (e.g., RMM, Autotask, Intune) is a plus
Working Conditions
- In-office only (Toronto headquarters, 5 days/week)
- 8-hour workdays with regular use of support tools and client communication
- Onsite client visits may be required for hardware setup, troubleshooting, or project work
- Occasional after-hours work may be needed for projects or escalations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
