About the role

Based in Dandenong & reporting to the Branch Manager, you will lead the service team to ensure equipment inspections, servicing and repairs are completed to a high standard to support service demand.

This is a great opportunity for a mechanic looking to take the next steps in their career, leading a small team and being responsible for all the allocation of work and quality.

As a Team Leader, you will:

• Coordinate equipment servicing & repairs in line with budget to maximise equipment availability & reliability
• Lead and mentor your team in their day to day activities
• Provide expert advice with diagnostics and customer requirements
• Train and guide technicians on service requirements and procedures, including Baseplan
• Ensure all necessary parts, consumables, tools, and equipment are available
• Lead safety culture & compliance for team / branch
• Conduct equipment servicing and repairs

Skills and Experiences:
Skills and experience

Along with sound mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills, our ideal candidate will have:

A mechanical trade qualification
Sound planning, organisational and prioritisation skills
Ability to problem solve and be flexible
Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage cost in line with budgets
