About the role

Based in Derrimut VIC & reporting to the Branch Manager, you will lead the workshop team to ensure equipment inspections, servicing and repairs are completed to a high standard to support service demand.

This challenging and diverse role offers a variety of work, both on and off the tools.

As a Team Leader, you will:

• Coordinate equipment servicing & repairs in line with budget to maximise equipment availability & reliability
• Lead and mentor your team in their day to day activities
• Provide expert advice with diagnostics and customer requirements
• Train and guide technicians on service requirements and procedures, including Baseplan
• Ensure all necessary parts, consumables, tools, and equipment are available
• Lead safety culture & compliance for team / branch
• Conduct equipment servicing and repairs

Skills and Experiences:
Skills and experience

Along with sound mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills, our ideal candidate will have:

A mechanical trade qualification
Experience in leading teams (either directly or indirectly) and managing service demand)
Sound planning, organisational and prioritisation skills
Ability to problem solve and be flexible
Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage cost in line with budgets
