Job Description:
The Technical Sales Specialist supports both inside and external sales activities by managing customer accounts, coordinating technical documentation, and ensuring efficient sales operations. This role works closely with customers and internal teams (Sales, R&D, Operations, Logistics, and Finance) to support business development initiatives and deliver a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities (tasks, duties):
Inside Sales / Customer Service Responsibilities
- Generate sales reports (product, volume, revenue, profit) for management
- Develop formal R&D resource requests in conjunction with business development managers-
- Enter Orders in ERP system
- ERP/CRM Customer Addition
- Coordinate with Payables on Customer Credit Applications
- Complete documentation for NanoXplore on-boarding with customers
- Communicate SDS/TDS/CoA follow-up with customers when needed.
- Invoice follow-up with customer
- Coordination with logistics on shipment timing/quotes/updating sales orders
- Coordinate internal meetings with Ops/R&D/Procurement
External Sales Responsibilities
1.Support sales team with key customers as needed
- Schedule plant tours
- Schedule customer meetings
- Build / update customer presentations with R&D
- Aid account follow-ups with inactive customer pursuits
2. Participate in regional customer visits
3. Develop relationships with regional customers
Required qualifications:
Training, degrees :
Bachelor of Science or Engineering, or similar technical degree
Experience, knowledge:
- 5 years customer-facing experience in Chemicals, Polymers, Materials or related
Specific qualifications :
Skills, aptitudes:
- Strong communications writtenoral in English (required) and French (asset)
- Outgoing customer-oriented personality
- Technically astute. Familiar with performance test design matrices, statistics, and analytical methods.
- Flexible and able to multi-task

- Results Oriented – persistent in delivering results in a matrixed organization.
- Adaptability – Ability to sell multiple products with changing priorities and goals.
