Technical Specialist

Nalco Water, an Ecolab company helps customers increase water efficiency, sustainability and performance in variety of industries. We are currently seeking a Technical Specialist to join our Nordic team in the Global High-Tech Division in Finland. In this role you will be responsible for providing technical consulting and support to help our customers achieve operational excellence.

What You Will Do:

• Provide best in-class service regarding liquid cooling.
• Supervision on commissioning and flush/fill procedures regarding liquid cooling.
• Provide training to customers on procedures and products.
• Provide technical support; identify and resolve customer pain points, escalate as required.
• Provide support services such as process water sampling, water testing, light maintenance, customer service, service report generation, management, general labor activities.
• Develop and enhance customer relationships.
• Contribute to the improvement of processes in your area.
• Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.
• Complete required reporting on a timely basis.
• Travelling within Finland and abroad is expected (approx. 30-40 days pr. year).

Location: ideally located in Southern or Central Finland, but the location can be discussed with the right candidate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry or related area is preferred.
• Min. 2 years of experience in an industrial or mechanical environment; water treatment and/or liquid cooling experience is an advantage.
• Technically minded and strong problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused approach and good at building relationships as well as understanding customer needs.
• Enjoy taking initiative and working independently but also functions well as part of a team.
• Structured and can manage a hectic day.
• Fluent in Finnish (written and spoken) and good English skills.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for work.
