JOB DESCRIPTION

An Automotive Tire Technician is a skilled member of the Tire Department who reports to the Store Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

An Automotive Tire Technician is responsible for performing the following duties:

• Perform tire inspections.
• Mount and dismount all types of tires on all types of rims.
• Uninstall and install rim and tire packages onto Cars, Trucks, Vans and SUVs.
• Repair tires when they are safely repairable.
• Rotate tires, check and adjust tire pressures, install and set tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Other duties, as assigned

The regular hours in the Tire Department are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

REQUIREMENTS

In order to be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A valid Ontario Driver’s License and a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Experience in the automotive tire industry an asset
• Physically fit and able to lift/carry 50lbs
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
