Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Operator, where you will be the driving force behind vehicle recovery and roadside assistance. Duties
- Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and hook-and-chain models, to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Conduct automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine the best recovery approach.
- Load, unload, and secure vehicles using appropriate equipment such as straps, chains, or forklifts.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients and motorists during roadside assistance or vehicle recovery.
- Manage conflict situations professionally when dealing with distressed customers or challenging scenarios.
- Maintain detailed logs of all recoveries, loads, unloads, and vehicle conditions for reporting and compliance purposes.
- Perform routine inspections and basic automotive repairs to ensure tow truck safety and operational readiness.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and automotive repair techniques.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmissions preferred.
- Hands-on mechanic experience or familiarity with tow truck operations is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate specialized equipment such as flatbeds, forklifts, and other loading tools safely.
- Strong customer service skills combined with conflict management abilities to handle difficult situations professionally.
- Knowledge of automotive safety standards, load securing procedures, and roadside assistance protocols.

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
