YOUR IMPACT

Working within the Benefit TR APAC team, the Travel Retail Senior sales executive SEA will assist the Travel retail team operating the business of Duty Free Operators in SEA, on sales, animations, field coaching and visual merchandising.


SKILLS & RESPONSABILITIES

Sales and Business Acumen:

  • Sales Target Achievement: Utilize strategic planning and incentive schemes to drive monthly and yearly sales targets for Beauty Advisors (BAs).
  • Marketing Collaboration: Execute specific marketing activities in close coordination with the Marketing team to achieve sales goals.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market studies on competitors' pricing, activities, offers, and incentive programs to stay competitive.
  • Stock Management: Ensure optimal stock levels and maintain the availability of top 50 SKUs through effective communication with internal departments and the DFS merchandising team.

Team Management and Development:

  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit, teach, coach, motivate, and develop a team of approximately 20 BAs.
  • Performance Evaluation: Collaborate with Duty-Free operators for field staff evaluation and performance reviews.
  • Staff Orientation: Orient new staff and focus on their development and retention.
  • Seminar Organization: Assist in organizing BA seminars to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Visual Merchandising:

  • Planogram Implementation: Ensure planograms are implemented according to guidelines for new launches and animations, and propose improvements where necessary.

Training and Development:

  • Training Material Development: Help develop and conduct training materials for the Travel Retail environment for BAs and generic staff
  • Inspiration and Team Spirit: Inspire and train the BA team by setting examples of excellent service and sales, fostering a strong team spirit.
  • Performance Tracking: Develop and maintain BA personal files to track and enhance performance.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Education: University degree holder or equivalent academic qualifications.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of retail experience, with at least 2 years related to travel retail.
  • Sales and Service: Proven track record in sales and service.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in reading and analyzing numbers.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills in customer service.
  • Communication and Leadership: Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
