We are seeking an experienced Trade Counter Manager to lead our busy hardware store trade counter in Longford.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively to drive trade sales, deliver excellent customer service, and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the trade counter to ensure efficiency and high standards
• Deliver excellent customer service and product guidance
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
• Manage stock levels, ordering, and merchandising displays
• Prepare and manage quotations accurately and in a timely manner
• Lead, coach, and support the team to achieve high performance
• Resolve customer queries, orders, and complaints efficiently

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a hardware store, builders’ merchants, or similar environment
• Strong product knowledge of tools, materials, and DIY supplies
• Experience supervising or leading a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Good organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Competent in computer systems, sales software and stock management systems
