Company Description
Joyce’s Hardware & Home, based in Headford, Co. Galway, is a trusted, family-run business and one of the West of Ireland’s leading home & agri suppliers.
Role Description
As a member of our trade counter, you will be an important part of the onsite sales team. We are looking for someone who takes initiative and ensures excellent customer service. Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities and duties
- Serve and support customers at the trade counter in a professional and friendly manner
- Process till transactions efficiently and accurately
- Handle phone and email enquiries related to the assigned area
- Maintain well-stocked and clean displays, ensuring products are correctly priced
- Support the team with inventory checks, incoming deliveries and general stock control
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth service across the store
- Adhere to all company procedures and health and safety policies
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- A self-motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to work
