What will I be doing?
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you are responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls, etc.
• Installing Pipes
• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
• Install appliances and equipment.
• Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash etc.
• Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation).
• Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm).
• Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations.
• Report to Maintenance Manager any issues that need additional outside assistance.
• Ensure that all Occupational Health & Safety policies and training are followed.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with all departments
• Other related duties based on seasonal needs
• May include shift work

• · Experience in light maintenance is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• English not required

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Edmonton, AB T6J 5J6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
