This is a temporary, part-time position with flexible hours, beginning November 19, 2026, and ending April 21, 2027.

We are looking for friendly and helpful part-time Tram Attendants to join our Lee County Transit team. In this role, you will greet passengers, answer questions about routes, and support drivers to help keep each trip safe and smooth. You will follow set procedures and use good judgment to decide how to complete your daily tasks.


This job is ideal for someone who enjoys being outdoors, working on an open air tram, and can adjust to the shifting weather conditions of Southwest Florida. If you enjoy a flexible outdoor work environment, this role is a great fit for you.

Duties and Responsibilities

What You Will Do

  • Provide courteous and professional customer service to all passengers, while effectively multitasking.
  • Give directions using electronic maps (e.g., Google maps).
  • Ensure guests follow all policies and procedures.
  • Provide general customer travel information.
  • Provide crowd control and direct passengers.
  • Monitor the area and tram for passenger safety.
  • Help guests with wheelchairs or mobility devices on/off the tram and follow ADA requirements.
  • Make announcements and share information using a microphone.
  • Keep the tram and surrounding areas clean.
  • Inspect vehicles and equipment, including general maintenance and safety checks.
  • Performs related work as assigned.

Education, Experience, Licensing

What We're Looking For

  • High School or GED (or similar experience)
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • One (1) year of customer service experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Lee County roads and areas preferred

Supplemental Information

Work Schedule

  • LeeTran runs 7 days a week, including some holidays (4:00 AM – 1:00 AM)
  • Day and evening shifts available
