Are you an enthusiastic and results-driven individual? We're on the hunt for a Salesperson to join our team and specialise in selling subscriptions to our national publication, Travellers’ Voice Magazine. The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing awareness of Travellers’ Voice, enhancing our social media presence, growing and maintaining a sales database and coordinating distribution for our publication.

Location: Based at Involve CLG, Monksland, Athlone, N37 VX52

Responsibilities

· Promote and sell our magazine subscriptions to potential readers.

· Respond to and follow up on all sales enquiries.

· Maintain and develop existing and new relationships with customers. These customers include private individuals, state and semi-state bodies, community groups and private companies.

· Maintain a well-organised database with subscriber information and preferences.

· Ensure the efficient and accurate distribution of our magazines to subscribers.

· Creating engaging content across social media platforms and assisting in updating website content.

Requirements

· Proven sales experience

· Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

· Strong organisational and time management abilities.

· Proficiency with database management and sales tracking tools

· Proficiency with content creation on Social Media platforms and website updates.

· Have a full, clean driving licence

Job Details

The successful candidate will work 28 hours per week. The position is an initial 12-month contract, subject to a 6-month probationary period and continued funding.

Pay: From €14.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Daneswell Business Centre, Athlone, CO. Westmeath: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
