Wages: $27-30/hour

NZ Driving License: Class 2

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering couriers across specified routes, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and compliance regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and drive trucks with compliance to legal and safety standards.
• Load and Unload cargo, ensuring items are secured and safely transported.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel use, and delivery logs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding schedules and delivery updates.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues to the management.
• Stay up-tp-date with industry rules, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of load.

Requirements:

• Valid New Zealand truck driving license - Class 2 and clean driving record.
• Either 1 year work experience or level 3 qualification is required.
• Pre-employed Drug Test required
• Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks.
• Good communication skills and professionalism.
• Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation tools.
