Van Driver/ Warehouse Operative – Tyre Wholesale

Depot in Kildare

Working Hours

40 hours per week
Monday to Friday

Job Purpose

To safely and efficiently deliver tyres to customers while providing a reliable, professional service that reflects the high standards of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver tyres to customers in a timely and professional manner
• Load and unload tyres safely, following manual handling guidelines
• Ensure delivery documentation is completed accurately
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or issues
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery van & warehouse
• Represent the company positively when dealing with customers
• Assist in the warehouse when required (picking, packing, stock movement)
• Follow all road safety, company, and health & safety procedures

Person Specification Essential

• Full clean Category B driving licence
• Previous van driving or delivery experience desirable but not essential
• Good knowledge of Irish road networks
• Reliable, punctual, and well organized
• Good communication skills and customer-focused attitude
• Fluent spoken English

Desirable not essential

• Experience working in tyre, automotive, or wholesale distribution
• Manual handling training (or willingness to complete training)
• Basic knowledge of vehicle or tyre products
