About Our Location: Woodland serves all of Jefferson City and its surrounding area. Located on the east end near Linn, Taos, and Loose creek, we even maintain loyal client relationships with people from Columbia, Lake of the Ozarks, Springfield, and more. Surrounded by various historical museums, beautiful parks, shopping centers, great restaurants, and only 35 miles from the Lake of the Ozarks, this is a great place to start or raise a family!

About Our Clinic: Our well-established, full-service, small animal exclusive veterinary hospital offers a variety of services for our patients to ensure that the best care possible is being provided. These services include: diagnostic and therapeutic services, surgical services, anesthesia, radiology services, dentistry, laboratory, microchipping, pharmaceutical, flea control, boarding, grooming, and emergency care. Our facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, hospitalization area, indoor boarding kennels, and outdoor walking areas.

About Our Team: As an experienced three-doctor team with a wonderful support staff of an office manager, a receptionist, a registered veterinary technician and veterinary assistants, we are looking to add a qualified member to our crew. We are all very motivated and compassionate when it comes to working with our clients, patients, and each other, and would love to find someone who can display these traits while growing with us each day!

Job Responsibilities: The responsibilities for this role include assisting animal patients with feeding, bathing, and exercising, assisting veterinary technicians and veterinarians with lab work, cleaning/sterilizing kennels, operating rooms, exam rooms, etc., comforting/restraining patients, greeting customers, answering questions/phone calls, processing incoming patients, handling payments, updating files/patient charts, billing, and other various tasks as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.75 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
