Veterinary Receptionist (Part-Time)

Kawartha Animal Hospital is looking for a positive, dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join our Client Services Team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate would have some client service experience in a veterinary clinic setting, with experience with AVImark, strong computer skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in what can be a busy setting. The position primarily entails answering phone calls and emails from clients, booking appointments, assisting with keeping the reception area and exam rooms clean between appointments, and other organizational duties. We are looking for someone with a fun, positive attitude, who is interested in learning new skills. Attention to detail, the ability to prioritize and organize tasks, maintain a confident and friendly demeanour during busy times, and to work in a team environment are crucial. The hours are Monday 7:30a to 4:30p, Friday 7:30a to 4:30p, and 1 – 3 Saturdays a month, from 7:30a to 12:00p. (The hours on Monday and Friday vary a bit, depending on who opens and who closes, but no earlier than 7:30a and no later than around 5:30p. You will average around 20 hours per week)

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
