Role Overview

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team and work on commercial and advertising projects. The editor will take raw footage, creative briefs and motion graphics assets, and deliver finished videos that meet brand standards, client goals, and campaign timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and organise raw footage, storyboards, scripts and client briefs.
• Edit and assemble footage to create compelling commercial spots (TV, online, social) using Premiere Pro.
• Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, animations, titles and transitions in After Effects.
• Apply colour correction / grading, audio mixing (music, voice-over, SFX) to enhance final output.
• Ensure final videos meet format, codec, resolution, aspect-ratio and platform specifications (social, web, broadcast).
• Collaborate with creative team, motion graphics artists, sound designers and account managers to understand objectives and deliver on brief.
• Make revisions based on feedback, maintain version control, and archive project assets.
• Stay up to date with editing trends, software updates, and best practices in commercial production.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a video editor, preferably in commercial/advertising production. Indeed+2eg.indeed.com+2
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Good knowledge of editing workflows: story pacing, continuity, timing, audio-visual sync, colour grading. Indeed+1
• Experience working with motion graphics, titles and special effects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and maintain high-quality output under pressure. Indeed+1
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a creative team.
• A portfolio or show-reel that demonstrates your editing skills and commercial work is essential.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience producing videos for social media (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook) as well as broadcast. eg.indeed.com+1
• Familiarity with other tools/software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator for graphics, DaVinci Resolve for colour)
• Knowledge of format/codec requirements for different platforms and devices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
