VINYL APPLICATION TECHNICIAN

Valley City Sign seeks a Vinyl Application Specialist to join our team. The vinyl application specialist will apply vinyl graphics for various clients and industries to. We place a premium on a good attitude and willingness to learn. We will mentor and train the right person.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Apply vinyl while utilizing a variety of tools including a tape measure
• Prepare and install vinyl graphics, sign faces, and lettering on a variety of substrates, including metal, wood, and plastic
• Measure and mark surfaces where vinyl graphics will be applied
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Maintain accurate records of job orders and materials used

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in vinyl application preferred
• Active Listening Skills
• Good communicator Strong attention to detail
• Good organizational skills
• Knowledge of hand tools (especially a tape measure)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Commitment to exceptional customer service
• Have a humble and positive attitude
• Willing to work overtime as needed (could be months at a time)
• Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm (overtime is until 4:30pm, and/or Saturdays 6:00am - noon only, NO Sundays)

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
