Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) is the statutory authority responsible for regulating, conducting, and promoting the sport of greyhound racing and greyhound welfare in our state.

The sport generates $643 million in economic activity, returns over $75 million in prize money, rehomes more than 2,600 greyhounds, and directly involves over 17,000 people.

Description:
GRV are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to help grow and engage our Volunteer Carer team across Tullamarine and Seymour!

Skills and Experiences:
What’s on offer

We have one part-time position (3 days per week) available in our Welfare and Rehoming team based in our Seymour & Tullamarine offices.

You will expand GAP’s volunteer program by coordinating program logistics, resolving queries, onboarding new volunteers, and resolving cases relating to greyhound, transport, administration, behavioural, and medical issues.

What you’ll bring to the role

You’re comfortable working either autonomously or as part of a team and are known for your organisational prowess.

An effective communicator, you can build rapport with anyone and have a knack for communicating clearly.

In addition to these practical skills, you will have a genuine love and care for animals. Prior experience in animal care, dog/greyhound behaviour, and basic animal health knowledge will be advantageous.
