Chapters Bookstore is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our Parnell Street store team. You will be part of our busy retail team, processing stock deliveries, processing New and Second Hand books and maintaining the stockrooms to a clean and organised standard at all times.
Key Accountabilities:
- Organise and maintain stock in our stockrooms which are on both ground and 1st floors of the store.
- Processing Deliveries quickly and efficiently.
- Processing Returns quickly and efficiently.
- Processing of both New and Second Hand books onto the system.
- Assist in regular stock counts weekly.
- Assisting the store floor team with stock for replenishment/pack out on sales floor.
- Keeps the stockrooms areas clean, tidy, and organised at all times.
- Baling of Cardboard and disposal of all waste to be maintained weekly.
Experience:
- There is a degree of physicality required for this role as it will involve manual handling and some heavy lifting of stock and deliveries.
- Has a minimum of 1-year previous retail experience (an advantage but not essential).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with store team and customers.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: €14.15 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
