Position: Warehouse Associate/Route Delivery Driver
Job Summary/General Description:
Primary Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Associate/Route Delivery Driver will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of all North Central Distributors, Inc., supplier products to various customers on an assigned route.
Secondary Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Associate/Route Delivery Driver person will assist with general warehouse duties on non-delivery days.
Key Job Activities:
Responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of all North Central Distributors, Inc. products on assigned route, and other related duties to guarantee customer satisfaction.
Be able to use various material handling equipment.
Maintain accuracy of delivered products with no damage due to mishandling.
Complete all paperwork for assigned route and ensure that all payments are reconciled.
Safely operate assigned delivery vehicle; inspects vehicle for defects pre/post trip and notify supervisor and company mechanic of any problems.
Follow all transportation/delivery policies of North Central Distributors, government authorities and customers.
Communicate with supervisors all problems/customer concerns or questions on assigned routes.
Ensure conformance with company polices for professional appearance, conduct and other requirements.
Assist Warehouse team with picking orders, unloading supplier trucks, putting away supplier products, inventory and warehouse cleaning on days when not assigned a route.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Licensed to drive in West Virginia and have a good driving record.
Pass a drug screening, background check and other screenings.
Basic math skills are required.
Understanding of technology and how to use Apple/Google based applications.
Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, reach, bend, squat, and stoop to accomplish the essential job functions.
Ability to perform repetitive lifting of up to 65 lbs.
Have strong communication skills with ability to communicate with management team, drivers, sales, and customers.
Self-motivated; customer focused.
Active listening skills; Independent thinking/decision-making skills.
Ensure attendance and punctuality within company standards.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary - Starting at $15.00 - $20.00/hour and overtime, when approved.
Health Insurance - May participate in health, dental & vision insurance after 90-day probationary period.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
