Daytime position with competitive pay

Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

$45,000 - $50,000

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of warehouse operations. The position will work with senior managers to maintain efficient warehousing, distribution, and transportation operations.

Responsibilities:

• Warehouse operations, including efficient and accurate receiving/slotting/shipping functions, organizational skills for administrative areas, and controlling/managing inventory.
• Provide training, support, and guidance to warehouse staff to accomplish their job tasks accurately and successfully.
• Enforce processes and procedures that ensure that quality standards meet customer expectations and are consistent with the best ways of working with other facilities.
• Provide verbal and written instructions effectively and respectfully.
• When needed, operate powered industrial lifts to load and unload materials and deliveries, and move them to and from storage areas, loading docks, into trucks.
• Data entry and computer skills are required. Daily use of an RF scanner gun to process stock and orders, and regular use of the warehouse management system to manage tracking of product.
• Review and determine defective materials or questionable conditions and ensure quality inspections are performed and documented.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and aisles neat: sweep, dust, and mop.
• General oversight of facility management to ensure the building is in good working order.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous warehouse/distribution center management experience
• Previous experience with a warehouse management system (WMS)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Certified Forklift Operator
• Be able to effectively communicate with various levels of management, associates, and our customers
• Utilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform duties
• Physical requirements include but are not limited to spending a majority of the day in an ambient warehouse environment, lifting cartons up to 50 lbs., and operating forklifts and/or trucks
