Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Location: Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow

We are currently hiring for the position of Warehouse Manager. This skilled multitasker will manage a team in receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities of the warehouse, ensuring that quality standards are met or exceeded. The warehouse manager must achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate order fulfilment, and track shipping times to meet inwards and outbound demands. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and able to manage multiple facets of warehouse operations simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Operations: Managing the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment.
• Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate stock levels, organizing, and controlling inventory, and implementing inventory control procedures.
• Team Management: Managing and motivating warehouse team in conjunction with the Warehouse Supervisor, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Safety and Security: Ensuring a safe working environment, implementing, and maintaining security procedures, and adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Cost and Budget: Managing warehouse costs, ensuring budgetary compliance, and maximizing revenue opportunities.
• Customer Satisfaction: Ensuring efficient and accurate order processing to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency.

Essential Skills/Competencies:

• Leadership: Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to organize and manage warehouse operations and inventory.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication with team, management, and suppliers.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to warehouse operations, inventory, and team.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Procedures: Familiarity with best practices in warehouse management, inventory control, and safety regulations

Requirements:

• 3-5 years post qualification experience in similar role
• 3rd level qualification (level 7) or equivalent
• Experience operating in a complex, fast paced environment.
• Team player, capable of building strong and influential relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good working knowledge of SAP or other similar ERP systems.
• Self-directing, goal oriented and able to prioritise workloads.
