Established in 1963 the business employees more than 1000 employees, operates a fleet of 2700 asset owned transport units and transports in excess of 100,000 freight loads annually.

Having completed Phase 1 and opened a state of the art 25,000 racked pallet warehouse on its 35-acre Logistics Park at Drinagh, Co. Wexford; Nolan Warehousing & Logistics Ltd is now commencing Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the development. Phase 2 and Phase 3 will add an additional 35,000 racked pallet warehousing capacity at the site, bringing capacity up to 60,000 pallets.

The Logistics Park is strategically located next door to Rosslare Europort and well serviced by the main Euro routes and international connections.

We are currently recruiting for the role of Warehouse Operative with forklift Certification and Experience based in our Warehouse in Drinagh, Wexford. The successful candidate will report to the Warehouse Operations Manager.

This position is full-time working 40 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday (Day Work).

Main Responsibilities:

· Receipt and inspection of stock, the control and tracking of all items through use of a bespoke warehouse management system.

· Picking/Packing and processing of orders from trailer to warehouse racking locations, this will include loading and putaway of stock to achieve turn around targets.

· Responsible for the end-to-end movement, safe and secure storage of all stock / goods and machinery.

· Working within an experienced team to ensure our goods in/out is running efficiently

· The use of a voice control & and hand-held devices

· Ability to multi task and cover any ad-hoc duties as determined by your manager

· Comply with all health & safety standards, stringent quality standards and protocols such as /BRC and ISO

· Completion of any documentation according to target deadlines and liaise with office to improve target deadlines.

Requirements:

· Experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

· Excellent attention to detail with competency in IT based systems and handheld devices

· Experience in a Logistics or Distribution /Warehouse environment is essential

Experience & Education:

· Forklift Licence – VNA/Counter balance /Reach truck /Power pallet

· Driving Licence – preferable

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
