We have exciting positions for ambitious warehouse operatives to join us at our distribution centre here in Ireland.

Reporting into our Distribution Centre Manager we are looking for team members who are self-motivated, driven, reliable and accountable. We have a well-positioned, highly accessible, modern distribution site based in Dublin 11 ready for the next chapter in our European expansion.

Who you are

Our ideal applicant will be able to use their own initiative whilst handling our products. You will show care and attention to all equipment. As the work is in a busy warehouse environment there will be a requirement at times to stand for long periods of time and manual handling. The ability to work alone or as part of a team, you will be punctual and reliable, and self-motivated with the ability to work to deadlines

What you will do

As a warehouse operative, you will be responsible for all aspects of the warehouse, from goods-in to dispatch, stock rotation as well as various other day to day responsibilities. Join our growing team at Gear4music to help pick, pack and dispatch orders to our customers!

Your day to day will include

• Picking and packing of customer orders
• Assistance in loading pick-up vehicles
• Loading vehicles
• QS inspection and controlling of incoming goods
• Assistance with stock checks
• Put away of incoming goods
• Responsible for occupational safety within the Warehouse, reporting from hazards and assistance in eliminating hazards in consultation with the Team Leader Inbound
• Unloading sea containers

• Commercial experience working as a warehouse operative in a large, fast paced distribution centre would be an advantage, but training will be given
• VNA license preferred
• Excellent level of English
• Previous warehouse experience would be an advantage, but training will be given
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Computer and iPad literate
