As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Warehouse & Packing Specialist to support our production and fulfillment operations, ensuring that each product is packed and shipped with care, ready to delight our customers.

Position Overview:

The Warehouse & Packing Specialist will be responsible for managing the storage, organization, and packaging of our luxury candles and related products. This role is vital to ensuring that each order is fulfilled accurately and efficiently, maintaining the high standards of quality and care that our brand is known for. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on delivering exceptional service and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Fulfillment:
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring that all items are carefully packed to prevent damage during transit.
  • Verify and check inventory levels to ensure orders are filled accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Label and prepare shipping documents and packaging in compliance with customer specifications and company guidelines.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Assist in receiving and organizing incoming shipments of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished products.
  • Maintain an organized warehouse, ensuring that inventory is stored safely, labeled clearly, and easily accessible for order fulfillment.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and help track inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
  • Quality Control:
  • Inspect products before packing to ensure that they meet quality standards, and report any issues to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Handle all products with care, ensuring that luxury candles are packed securely to prevent breakage or damage.
  • Shipping & Logistics Support:
  • Assist with the preparation of shipments, ensuring the correct carrier and service are selected for each order.
  • Coordinate with the shipping team to ensure timely dispatch of orders, and track shipments when necessary.
  • Help with organizing and prioritizing orders based on deadlines and customer requirements.
  • Warehouse Maintenance:
  • Ensure that the warehouse environment is clean, organized, and safe for all team members.
  • Follow all safety protocols when handling products, machinery, and materials.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure that inventory, packing, and shipping processes align with production timelines and customer expectations.
  • Assist with other warehouse or fulfillment-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in warehouse, packing, or fulfillment roles, ideally in a high-end or luxury goods environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to lift and move products (up to [XX] lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems or warehouse management software is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with packing delicate or luxury products, especially candles or home fragrance items.
  • Knowledge of shipping carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx, etc.) and logistics processes.
  • Previous experience working in a small-to-medium-sized company where flexibility and teamwork are essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £24,000.00 per year
