Alltrans – Warehouse Operative Supervisor

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the supervision and day to day running of a fast paced busy warehouse. Candidates must hold a valid forklift/counterbalance licence and be proficient in the use of IT, including warehouse management systems.

The Role:
As a Warehouse Supervisor you will:

• Operate forklifts, electric pallet trucks, and hand scanners to safely manage goods and equipment.
• Manual lifting and sorting of cartons.
• Follow company procedures to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient handling of deliveries.
• Maintain storage of stock including segregation of consignment stock
• Stock counting, reconciliation and reporting any discrepancies on a daily basis
• Stock control including forecasting stock requirements based on order volume
• Preparation and communication of reports to management and external customers
• Communicate job expectations and coordinate training programmes for warehouse staff, including conducting performance reviews
• Maintain high levels of Health and Safety and hygiene standards
• To work efficiently and effectively as part of a team

What We’re Looking For:

• A valid forklift license is essential.
• Flexibility essential
• Valid B license.
• Experience working with electric pallet trucks and hand scanners.
• Ability to work independently and handle time-sensitive operations.
• A strong team ethic and commitment to high performance and safety standards

Salary and benefits

• Full-time, permanent contract – 40 hours per week.
• Monday to Friday - PM shift (4pm to 1am)
