Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader – Logistics

Reporting To: Logistics Assistant Manager

Job Summary: To oversee and support the Logistics Assistant Manager in Warehouse operations while maintaining a high standard of Health & Safety. To encourage and contribute to the progression of all team members.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee and ensure the timely completion of all work and documentation by the team, adhering to company policies and procedures.

· Meet all deadlines efficiently, coordinating tasks and resources effectively.

· Maintain strict quality control measures to achieve and uphold 100% accuracy in checking and picking processes.

· Monitor team productivity levels, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency.

· Continually seek to propose more efficient systems and routines for the workload.

· Communicate any team issues to management/HR, promptly addressing any issues or concerns and seeking appropriate guidance when necessary.

· Provide comprehensive training and support to new starters and existing team members, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to excel in their roles.

· Create a positive team culture, motivating and encouraging team members to achieve their full potential.

· Prioritise and maintain a strong focus on Health & Safety, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and company policies and procedures.

· Uphold high standards of housekeeping throughout the warehouse to ensure a safe and organised working environment.

· Continuously evaluate processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes to drive operational excellence.

Team Support:

· Provide ongoing support and guidance to team members.

· Encourage open communication and feedback among team members to facilitate learning and development.

· Proactively address any conflicts or challenges within the team, promoting resolution and maintaining team consistency.

· Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic at all times.

Experience:

· 1-2 years of Logistic/Warehouse experience

· Warehouse machinery experience essential

· Valid Forklift Licence

· Valid PPT Licence

· Valid Manual Handling certificate

Education:

· Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
