Douglas Homes is a recognized home builder in Airdrie, Cochrane, Chestermere, and Calgary. We are excited to share that our company is growing, and we are looking for a warranty coordinator to join our team. We are in search of a motivated, organized, hard-working individual with excellent customer service skills to join and grow the team. Job Summary:
In this role, you will work closely with the Construction and Warranty team, and you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to our Home Buying Customers. You will be responsible for scheduling warranty technician appointments with homeowners, communicating progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
What you will do:
- Schedule warranty technician appointments with homeowners and track progress.
- Compose and send letters to customers and trade contractors as required.
- Streamline homeowner warranty claims by gathering detailed information, scheduling trades and meeting deadlines.
- Coordinate and track completion of all work and follow up on outstanding issues.
- Work with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely resolution of warranty claims, overseeing repairs and replacements as required and maintain/build positive working relationships.
- Liaise with site staff and trade partners to ensure timely resolution of all warranty-related matters.
- Collaborate with clients to address construction progress, questions, and concerns.
- Review and assess warranty coverage to determine the validity of claims and advise homeowners accordingly.
- Ensure that all repairs and replacements meet the company's quality standards and are completed to the homeowner's satisfaction.
- Utilize scheduling software to monitor and coordinate change orders with site staff and construction schedules.
- Maintain detailed, accurate and organized documentation for all warranty changes, contracts, change orders, permits, etc.
Experience/Knowledge Requirements:
- Construction industry experience is required.
- Familiarity with Alberta New Home Warranty is an asset.
- 2-3 years of Warranty Coordination experience is an advantage.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organization and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Work Location: This is a full time permanent position located in Calgary

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Thursday: 8AM to 5PM and Fridays: 8AM to 2PM
Language requirement: English
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
