Topman – Trenex Corporations is seeking a skilled Topman to join our team in the Water & Sewer division. If you have experience in excavation, pipe installation, and guiding crews, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot grade with transit and laser equipment
• Must know and understand geodetic elevations
• Ensure all installed materials are on design elevation and location
• Must have good math skills
• Read and interpret drawings to ensure accurate installation
• Direct and signal heavy equipment operators
• Assist in the material installation
• Cut and bevel pipe
• Support setting up and putting away tools
• Assist the Foreman with paperwork and organizing crew/subcontractors
• Instruct and guide crew on job tasks & mentor inexperienced workers

Qualifications

• Experience working in water and sewer projects
• Strong understanding of excavation, grading, and pipe installation
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34.00-$40.00 per hour

Additional pay:

• Overtime pay

Flexible language requirement:

• French not required

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
