X-Ray Technician

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician to join our modern polyclinic in Kuravilangadu, Kottayam. Our facility is equipped with a Digital Laboratory and X-ray unit to support our Outpatient (OPD) and Urgent Care services. This position offers a stable day-shift schedule with no night duties.

​Key Responsibilities:

• ​Perform high-quality diagnostic X-rays and imaging procedures as requested by physicians.
• ​Operate and maintain digital X-ray equipment and related software.
• ​Ensure patient safety by following strict radiation protection protocols and providing lead shielding where necessary.
• ​Position patients accurately to obtain the best diagnostic results while ensuring their comfort.
• ​Process and archive digital images, ensuring they are ready for clinical review.
• ​Maintain accurate patient logs and documentation for all imaging procedures.
• ​Collaborate with the medical team to prioritize urgent care cases.
• ​Regularly inspect equipment and report any technical faults or maintenance needs.
• Handle reception and front-desk duties when required, including patient registration, appointment scheduling, and attending to patient inquiries.

​Requirements:

• ​Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Imaging Technology/Radiology.
• ​Registration: Valid registration with Paramedical Council.
• ​Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or diagnostic center preferred.
• Freshers may also apply.
• ​Technical Skills: Proficiency in handling Digital Radiography (DR) or Computed Radiography (CR) systems.
• ​Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent patient communication skills.
• ​Availability: Ability to join immediately is highly preferred.
