Patrick Murphy & Sons Fuels are looking to hire a Yard Operative for our manufacturing and production plant in Windsor Ovens Co.Cork. It will be a 5 day work week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 5pm with pay starting at €16 per hour. Duties include:

• Assist with the operation of the bagging plant and manufacturing plant
• Keep manufacturing, bagging plant and yard areas clean and tidy
• Liaising with third party drivers and staff to loading trucks and yard management.
• Driving forklift, loading and stocking of finished product (experience preferred)
• Carry out tasks in a safe and efficient manner
• Able to work outdoors
• Work as part of a team to meet production targets
• Ad hoc cleaning duties, which include cleaning under conveyor belts, sweeping up, shovelling etc. Also cleaning of office and canteen areas

Experience and qualifications

• Must be able to operate a counterbalance forklift
• Experience operating Loading shovel an advantage
• Manual handling and able for heavy lifting and manual work
• Valid right to work in Ireland
• Health and safety conscious

Working hours will be from 8.30am - 5pm with a 30 minute break Monday to Friday. You may be asked to work a Saturday if needs be.

Pay starts at €16 per hour
