As an Accountant based in our Coffs Harbour office you will complete client work across a range of accounting, compliance, and advisory services. You will be entrusted to provide the best possible service to our diverse range of clients.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Complete client work across a range of accounting, compliance, and advisory services
- Prepare accounts, annual income tax returns, BAS' and more for a wide variety of clients
- Monitor client management reports for underlying business improvement issues
- Provide taxation services including researching and concluding tax issues, verifying financial results and analyse income and expenditure, prepare & check tax returns, and gather and manage FBT systems (information gathering, completion and calculation procedures)
- Prepare and review individual, company, trust and partnership tax returns, and financial statements
- Maintain and produce financial reports using Xero, MYOB and Reckon
- 2 or more years' experience in professional services (accounting) in a public practice firm
- Hold or be working towards a CA/CPA qualification (desirable)
- Experience with Xero, MYOB and Reckon
- Strong communication skills
- A Can-Do, client focused attitude
- Deadline driven with sharp attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Great at building rapport and trust with team members and clients
