Accounts Payable Assistant Job Description:
Key Objectives of this Role
- Match invoices to purchase orders and check for accuracy.
- Enter freight invoices into the accounting system.
- Communicate with vendors or internal teams to fix discrepancies or obtain approvals.
- Monitor the Accounts Payable email inbox and process invoices promptly.
- Keep A/P files organized and up to date.
- Support the team with other related tasks as needed.
- Show a positive, helpful attitude and contribute to a positive workplace.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Good communication skills with vendors and team members.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive and reliable.
- Legendary Attitude.
Qualifications
- Experience with accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, or similar) is an asset.
- Comfortable using computers and email for daily work.
- Previous accounts payable experience is helpful but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
