Description:
The opportunity

Reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for processing accounts payable documents, ensuring that all creditors are paid within the correct terms of invoice, in a cost effective matter. With a demonstrated track record of success in a similar position, you will be a proactive team member and have the ability to work autonomously. This role will be offered as a 9-month fixed-term contract to provide coverage for an employee on extended leave, set to commence in mid-November. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment while contributing meaningfully during a key period.

Key elements of the role will include

Reconciliation of monthly creditors to statements
Liaising with creditors when account details are incorrect or credits have been raised
Confirming that the payable records have been authorised and entered accurately
Making sure that invoices are coded to the correct general ledger codes
Ensuring end of month deadlines are met and invoices are entered correctly
Special projects when required

What you’ll need to succeed

At least 5-7 years demonstrated experience within an Accounts Payable processing role, preferably within the FMCG industry
You will be a proactive team member and be comfortable working autonomously
Microsoft Dynamic AX experience would be advantageous
