Fhionn's Afterschool is based in Rivervalley in Swords Co.Dublin. We cater for school aged children only for breakfast club 7.30am-9am and then afterschool 1pm-6.30pm.

We are seeking a Manager with the competence to operate all aspects of the Afterschool - daily operations, supervision of children, staffing & financials.

This position is ideal for someone who is looking to work with school aged children.

Requirements:

• Minimum QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent.
• Previous relevant leadership experience of working in and desirably managing a similar sized service.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• An understanding of funding schemes and experience of managing finances, including budgeting and projections for the business.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage all elements of an Afterschool incl Breakfast Club (7.30-9.00am), sibling hour, school drop/collections on foot, homework club (1.00pm-6.30pm).
• Full overall responsibility for all aspects of the business and report monthly to the Operations Manager.
• Curriculum / activities planning, ensuring safety of all children in the programme, serving after school snacks, interacting with children and their families.
• Work independently as well as with a team.
• Create an enriching, fun, and safe environment.
