Our Property Management firm has an immediate opening for a Full Time Property Manager. We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our team and manage a local apartment community. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to effectively utilize property management software such as Yardi. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about property management and is looking for a challenging and rewarding role.
The Property Manager will be responsible for maintaining a high occupancy level, while remaining in full compliance with the owner and HUD requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited to:
· Maintaining the waiting list
· Greet prospective residents, tour available units and follow up on all prospects
· Process all lease applications
· Ensure the property provides an exceptional living environment for the residents
· Collection of rents, delivering notices regarding rent increases, delinquent rents, other lease infractions and other notices as may be required
· Submits required reports in a timely manner and maintain records according to company policies and regulations
· Perform apartment move-in and move-out inspections
· Conduct daily property inspection and periodic unit inspections
· Assist in resident relations
· Coordinate with the maintenance staff
Experience Preferred
· Computer literate in Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
· Knowledge of Fair Housing rules and regulations
· Must possess excellent organizational & time management skills
· Must be assertive and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Section 8 / HUD experience
Compensation will be based on experience. Pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check are required. Please respond with resume outlining list of skills and experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
