The Role

We are Ireland's leading solar PV installer, is seeking an Appointment Coordinator Supervisor to oversee a team of 5-8 Appointment Coordinators. This is a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, qualified appointments for our Sales Team through outbound calls to warm, pre-registered leads.

In this challenging and rewarding position, you’ll balance team leadership with hands-on coordination, driving targets and ensuring excellent service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Calling & Appointment Coordination

  • Lead the team in making outbound calls to pre-registered, warm leads to schedule appointments for the Sales Team.
  • Maintain a consistent focus on quality to ensure appointments meet defined standards.
  • Proactively follow up with potential customers to ensure lead conversion and pipeline growth.
  • Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude during all customer interactions to establish strong relationships.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping of customer information and appointments.

Team Leadership

  • Manage, support, and supervise a team of 8-10 Appointment Coordinators.
  • Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and motivation.
  • Set clear goals and expectations to ensure individual and team targets are met consistently.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to share updates, performance insights, and strategies for improvement.
  • Design and implement training programs to improve team skills, knowledge, and effectiveness.
  • Create a positive and results-driven team environment, celebrating successes and addressing challenges promptly.

The Person

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong Communication: Exceptional communication skills and telephone manner.
  • Target-Focused: Confident working towards KPIs and appointment targets.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Leadership: Proven experience managing and motivating teams in a similar role.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to handle challenges and implement effective solutions.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience in outbound sales or appointment coordination within a call centre.
  • Telecoms knowledge within mobile, landline, or hosted sales is an advantage.
