Hydraulink is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Area Sales Manager.

Description:
The Opportunity

Hydraulink is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Area Sales Manager to grow and protect sales across our distribution channels within Lower Waikato, Bay of Plenty (excluding Tauranga), Hawke’s Bay and Gisborne. This role involves weekly travel throughout the territory, with approximately one in every four weeks spent away from home for the full working week.

This is a strategic territory sales role responsible for driving sustainable business growth by developing new opportunities, strengthening existing customer relationships, and maximising sales across the full range of Hydraulink products and services.

Working closely with Hydraulink distributors, Owner Operators, branches and support teams, you will play a key role in improving business performance, developing capability, and ensuring customers receive exceptional service.

You will manage a portfolio of existing customers, national accounts and OEM relationships while actively identifying and converting new business opportunities to grow Hydraulink’s market presence.

About You
You are a relationship-focused sales professional who thrives on building partnerships, identifying opportunities and delivering results.

You will bring:

• Experience within hydraulics, engineering, industrial products, mechanical equipment or related industries
• Proven experience in territory sales, business development or managing franchise networks would be desirable
• A strong track record of growing existing customers and winning new business
• Experience managing key accounts and developing long-term customer relationships
• Strong negotiation, influencing and commercial skills
• Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
