Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our team here at Eden Learning Center! The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lessons
- Support students in various subjects including math and literacy education
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Aid in classroom management and behavior reinforcement
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Contribute to curriculum development and lesson planning
Skills
- Experience working with children
- Knowledge of special education practices is a plus
- Ability to assist in classroom activities and projects
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in curriculum development
- Familiarity with private school settings
- College Education / Certifications are a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 39 per week
Work Location: In person
