Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, ensuring a seamless experience from initial inquiry to service completion. Your expertise in automotive repair and exceptional customer service skills will help build lasting relationships with our clients while driving sales and upselling opportunities.
Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of service recommendations and repair options.
- Manage customer inquiries and follow up on service appointments.
- Process cash handling transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely updates on vehicle status and repairs.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to address customer concerns effectively.
- Promote additional services through upselling techniques while maintaining transparency with customers.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and invoices.
- Ensure a clean and organized service area to enhance the customer experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a sales-oriented role, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience as a mechanic is preferred.
- Previous experience working in a dealership environment is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing customer needs.
