An established, stable and respected AV integration company is looking for a full-time AV technician to join our team. Respond to this ad, INCLUDING a cover letter and resume. We will not respond to any applications that do not include a cover page.
Required/Desired skills:
· The ability to program and configure Crestron AV control products
· The ability to program and configure Extron AV and control products
· An understanding of audio DSP configuration and programming (preferably Biamp or QSC)
· A solid understanding of networking basics
· Experience with AV installations in Education/Corporate scenarios
· Post-secondary education in AV Technology, or IT Technology
· The ability to read and produce wiring diagrams
· The ability to anticipate and follow through on tasks
· The ability to manage time and perform tasks in efficient manner
· Team player with the ability to work independently without supervision
· Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
· Professional demeanour to interact with staff and clients
· Desire to learn and maintain skills commensurate with the ever changing technology
· Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation to our location
Position description includes:
· Installing wall and ceiling mounted displays and cameras, speakers, screens
· Pulling and terminating CAT6/6A, audio and control cable
· Working at heights
· Programming and configuration of audio visual equipment for project commissioning
Compensation:
Dependent on experience and ability
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
