Job Description
Key Responsibilities
A Branch Operations executive/officer typically handles:
1. Customer Service
Assisting customers with account queries, loans, deposits, etc.
Handling complaints and resolving issues quickly
Ensuring a positive customer experience
2. Cash & Transaction Management
Supervising cash handling and daily transactions
Monitoring deposits, withdrawals, and transfers
Ensuring proper reconciliation at the end of the day
3. Documentation & Compliance
Verifying KYC documents (ID, address proof, etc.)
Ensuring adherence to RBI/financial regulations
Maintaining accurate records and audit readiness
4. Operations Control
Managing branch processes and workflow
Coordinating with backend/HO teams
Ensuring SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) are followed
5. Sales Support (sometimes)
Assisting in cross-selling products (loans, insurance, accounts)
Supporting relationship managers or sales teams
