Part-Time Barista - Join Cafe Algan Team!

Are you a coffee enthusiast with a knack for crafting great beverages and providing top-notch customer service? We’re on the lookout for a full-time Barista to join our team and play a key role in making our specialty coffee cafe a welcoming, go-to spot for the community.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a busy environment, takes pride in attention to detail, and is dedicated to delivering an exceptional experience for every customer. If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you!

What We Offer:

• Work hours: 14-20 hours per week
• Wage: Starting at $17.85 per hour (negotiable based on experience) + Tips

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Crafting specialty coffee drinks to the highest standards and preparing small food orders with quality and consistency.
• Providing excellent customer service, ensuring a welcoming and engaging experience for all customers.
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the cafe, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas.
• Stocking and organizing service stations with paper products, ingredients, and other essentials.
• Monitoring equipment to ensure everything is functioning properly, including temperature checks.
• Following food safety protocols for handling, storing, and restocking food and beverages.
• Ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies and retail products as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 1 year of barista experience - Required.
• Latte Art skill - Required.
• Strong customer service skills with experience in hospitality or the food industry - Reguired.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliability and punctuality—weekend availability is a must.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for specialty coffee.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols—Food Safe Level 1 certification.
• Willingness to go above and beyond during peak times and stay adaptable under pressure.
